“My view of pediatric dentistry is that each child has different needs based on their unique situation, and prevention of disease is always my top priority.  Treatment plans are custom tailored for each patient based on many factors, such as age, medical conditions, risk of disease, and dietary habits. Each child’s overall health and long-term growth & development are at the forefront of all of my recommendations.  I strive to take the time to explain all treatment needs to ensure that every parent understands every treatment I recommend, and present treatment options or alternatives when available.  I look forward to lasting relationships and watching my patients grow, as I strive to treat each child as if they were my own.”  – Alex Roh, DMD

Q. Why did you choose your profession?

A:  Dentistry is a way for me to help and improve the quality of life of others, and having a natural ability to connect with children made Pediatric Dentistry an obvious career choice for me.  I’ve never regretted my decision.

Q. What did you want to be as a child?

A:  I always wanted to be a fighter pilot.  I have the right height, but my eyesight wasn’t good enough for me to become one.  I found my calling in Pediatric Dentistry, but I still want to fly those cool jets.

Q. What was your favorite food as a kid?

A:  Chicken McNuggets!  I still love Chicken McNuggets, it’s one of my guilty pleasures.  FYI: 20-piece McNuggets = $5, or 5 teeth to the Tooth Fairy.

Got something to say?
